How to earn while you learn

Get paid experience, as well as at least five full weeks of award-winning IT training worth £24,000. All we ask is that you have GCSE/A-Levels of C or above in Maths and English.

Who will I work for, and what will I do?

Firebrand works with employers locally and across the country, to give you experience and training. Most importantly - you’ll get paid!

Your employer could range from IT consultants to telecom experts, from multi-nationals to start-ups. You could find yourself doing anything from desktop support to web and mobile app development. Our job titles include: helpdesk engineer, consultant, software developer, and IT technician.

What training will I receive?

Firebrand offers a unique Advanced Level 3 IT Apprenticeship that provides award-winning industry training and certifications, valuable work experience and offers on-going support all with the ultimate goal of securing you a long-term career within the world of technology.

During your 12 month IT apprenticeship programme, Firebrand will provide you with five weeks of intensive training at our state-of-the-art training centre. Our method of accelerated training allows you to achieve industry-recognised certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA faster, giving you more time to put your new skills in to practice within a working environment. Firebrand will also provide you with a Mentor who will be supporting, assessing and assisting you with your development whilst you are in the workplace.

What experience do I need?

Each employer has their own requirements. Plus, as a minimum, you must have at least five A - C GCSEs, including English and Maths.

What happens after my apprenticeship?

In return for your hard work, commitment and drive throughout the course of your apprenticeship, you will be offered the chance to develop your career within this exciting, expanding and friendly organisation. 99% of Firebrand Apprentices remain in full-time employment.
