My Client is currently looking for an Experienced Maintenance Engineer
Who has worked within a demanding Factory setting
Reporting to our Mechanical Engineering Manager in this Maintenance Engineer role, you'll be responsible for setting and maintaining a routine planned preventative maintenance scheme to support and improve site reliability. Monitoring the plant and equipment to identify standard operating conditions, you'll also:
provide pro-active maintenance during unplanned plant failure
maintain key critical spares stockholding in-house and with preferred suppliers
oversee and control planned preventative maintenance in conjunction with the Electrical Engineer.
Qualified to NVQ level and a full, time-served Mechanical Engineer, you have a proven track record in a similar role and environment, ideally in high-volume manufacturing. With a sound grasp of Health & Safety and a real appreciation of customer care, you're a first-class all-round communicator with strong people-management, coaching and mentoring, skills in addition to:
the ability to work under pressure
the flexibility to work shifts, including weekends when required
an agile approach to react to the demands of the role.
