ERP SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT WITH MANUFACTURING EXPERTISE
This role is home based working for a well-regarded and innovative software solutions company who operate in a niche market. They are looking for an additional ERP Software Implementation Consultant who understands the manufacturing or engineering environments, in order to be able to work with stake holders in these industries and understand the business environment right down to the factory floor. Starting salary is around the £40 - 45k mark plus a £5k car allowance.
This is a hugely successful specialist ERP software company working with manufacturing companies. They sell a unique web based software solution which is a cutting-edge product for discrete, lean manufacturers and modules include MES and MOM functionality and Kaizen and lean philosophy. They have offices across the UK and overseas.
Over 400 companies have bought this software product in the USA and it is now being sold in the UK. it is leading edge manufacturing ERP software and 10 years from now this type of solution will be the norm. Every part of the manufacturing process is documented through images and video, there is very little documentation and reading, the tolerances on all the machines are explained easily, the safety gear is all displayed, and this allows for quick production with low waste.
The software is built on standard .Net technology with a SQL Server back end and is entirely web based and mobile enabled. Projects range from £40 - £500k at the top end.

They are looking for an experienced Software Implementation Consultant who has worked with ERP or MRP software and has knowledge of manufacturing, manufacturing automation, engineering, engineer to order, or material control type applications. The role involves gathering the requirements, talking to people on the shop floor in the factories to understand their processes, configuring the software to fit, looking after the software implementation process, training the users and hand holding through the go-live. You will work alongside a small team of ERP / MRP Consultants and Project Managers.
You will essentially be home based, with time spent on client sites and occasional visits to one of their offices. Ideally you will live somewhere from the Midlands down to the South Coast or the West Country as these areas are where most of their projects are based. A British Passport is essential for security clearance, and you need to have lived in the UK for the last 10 years.
The work here is very interesting and projects are meaty, so you will be able to get your teeth into these software implementations and will be kept busy.
