About us:

Beaumaris Group is a multi-disciplinary health care provider based in the Shropshire area. It has been providing support to individuals in the Shropshire area for over nine years.

We provide community based care to young adults, adults and the elderly with our bespoke care packages tailored to meet the needs of our clients, so that they may stay in the comfort of their own home.

We support people with learning difficulties, mental health, alcohol abuse, night care, palliative and respite care. Enabling them to remain in their own homes and maintain their dignity and independence.

You and the Role:

Beaumaris Group, based in Newport, Shropshire is looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, and have an ability to show empathy and warmth to all.

You should be approachable and make our clients feel at ease regardless of the setting.

As an individual, it is essential that you are highly organised and can document important information to a high standard to pass on to team leaders and the management.

This full-time role will support a young female, in Bridgnorth, with very challenging behaviour Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm.

There is a requirement for two Learning Disability Support Workers both must have prior experience with autism and learning difficulties.

Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Prior experience is essential for this role and the applicants must possess the following qualifications and/or experience:

  • MAPA Trained.
  • Experience of handling very challenging behaviour.
  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Own vehicle (business use insurance required).
  • Driving Licence.
