We have an exciting position available for a bespoke Kitchen Designer to join a well-established team in a local Welshpool business.

It is essential to the client that the candidate has previous Kitchen Designing experience with strong knowledge of CAD packages.

The successful person will need to be highly motivated with a strong creative design flair, as they play a crucial role in creating a unique experience for customers through innovative designing, maintaining and support with the projects.

A kitchen designer is a type of interior designer who works with clients to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling, or updating the kitchen area of their home. You would discuss building materials, themes, colors, patterns, and room layout with a client. You'll then have to produce sketches and drawings based on what your client tells you he or she wants, which will serve as a basic plan for the remodeling of the kitchen.

The job has the opportunity for growth and progression in many areas, therefore our client is looking for someone ambitious, enthusiastic and eager to meet the high expectations of clients.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes;

Previous experience in designing bespoke handmade kitchens
A Level IT or equivalent
Strong knowledge of CAD packages
Competent on the use of CMS/CRM systems
Confident in 2D & 3D designs
Ability to produce high-quality HD drawings on Articad.
Ability to work under instruction to meet customer specifications and incorporate all requirements and needs to best of your ability
Strong communication in presenting design ideas and suggestions to managers and customers alike
Ability to listen and develop ideas, whilst suggesting areas for improvements
Taking on board customer taste and designs from sales lead specification
Ability to accept and incorporate feedback from managers and clients
Work as a team to plan and manage projects
Strong time management skills to work to assignment deadlines
Innovative and unique thinking and designing to ensure each customer has an exclusive service tailored to their needs
Confidence to input into team meeting and design planning
Support sales team to provide relevant details
